Differences between  Hubble space and James Webb Telescopes

NASA  sent the James Webb telescope into space in DEC 2021(jwst launch). It is the most expensive telescope of all time, with a current value of more than 10 billion dollars . This project has been started for more than twenty years. And its working period is estimated at 10 years. And according to recent reports, James Web has been successfully integrated and launched and the day going to come when James web telescope send its first image on 11 July 2022 probably.

preference of James web over Hubble

James Webb is said to be the equivalent of the Hubble telescope, but it would be better to call him a scientist. Hubble's brilliant results inspired the creation of the web. Hubble's science led scientists to study higher wavelengths [1] and to see things that Hubble could not see.

Light from distant objects has moved beyond the limits of optical and ultraviolet to the limits of infrared. So a special infrared telescope is needed to see these distant galaxies.

The Hubble telescope can study visual, ultraviolet, and a limited number of infrared waves, while the web is designed specifically for infrared to study galaxies formed at the beginning of the universe. The size of the web mirror mirror  is also much larger than the Hubble mirror. Hubble is orbiting the Earth in close orbit, while the Web will be sent to L2 Leagering Point , 1.5 million kilometers from Earth.

The first European Space Agency sent Herschel Herschel infrared telescope to work on Point L2 in 2009, which was decommissioned in 2013 and sent to the sun's heliocentric orbit.
