We are proud to introduce the University of Sargodha as a major public sector University in the province of Punjab, Pakistan. It started its journey in 1929 with the establishment of De’Montmorency College, later renamed as Government College, which was awarded the University Charter in 2002.
With its main campus located in Sargodha city and Agriculture college in its suburb, the University presently has around 19,000 students and 550+ faculty members, including 265+ PhDs, in 22 departments, three institutes, one school, and four constituent colleges that come under the seven faculties of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Sciences, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Medical and Health Sciences, Engineering and Technology. They are assisted by around 1,700 administrat
ive staff. The University also has 224 affiliated government and private colleges spread across the province.
