ADMISSION NOTICE
Applications are invited from Male and Female candidates for admission at Jamshoro College of Nursing Jamshoro in Post RN B.Sc. Nursing Degree Program (2 years) for the session 2022-2024 (Male & Female) and Post Basic Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing program (One year) for the session 2022-2023 (only for male).
1. Post RN B.Sc. Nursing Degree Program of (Two years) for the session 2022-2024 for Males and Females:
Eligibility to apply:
Diploma in General Nursing.
Diploma in Midwifery (One-year specialty in any Nursing subject in lieu of Midwifery for male). 01-year experience as RN. (Copy enclosed)
2. Post Basic Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing of one year program for the session 2022-23 for Male only:
Eligibility to apply:
Diploma in General Nursing (03 years).
3. Seats reserved:
(50 Seats for Post RN B.Sc. Nursing and 50 seats for Post Basic Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing) Sindh-45 seats, Punjab-01 seat, Khyber Pakhtoonkhuwa-01 seat, Balochistan-01 seat, AJK-01 seat, and Gilgit Biltistan-01 seat.
4. Accommodation:
Hostel accommodation is available for female students only.
5. Aptitude test will be conducted by Testing Service (Tentative dates):
a. Each candidate will purchase admission form with a Bank Draft Pay Order of Rs. 600/- in favor of Director, Directorate of Nursing Sindh Karachi. In addition to this, he/she will pay Rs. 600/- to Testing Service on account for aptitude tests in nominated branches.
b. Each candidate will purchase prospectus with Bank Draft / Pay Order of Rs. 800/- in favor of the Principal, Jamshoro College of Nursing, and Jamshoro.
c. The Written Test will be conducted by testing service on 01-01-2023 (Sunday).
d. Testing service department will dispatch the admit card to the candidates at their given addresses or it can be downloaded from the Test Service website (www.nts.org.pk).
6. Last date for submission of application forms (Tentative dates):
Admission forms could be obtained from Jamshoro College of Nursing Jamshoro after the advertisement.
Date of issuance of the prospectus (Application from) 23-11-2022.
The last date for submission of application forms is 15-12-2022.
Admission forms should be submitted to Jamshoro College of Nursing Jamshoro.
7. The application Forms must include attested photo copies of following.
08 Passport size photos.
• Matric Certificate (for date of birth).
Diploma of General Nursing (03 Years Course) pass.
Diploma in Midwifery one year (for female only) required for B.Sc. Nursing Program.
Diploma in any Nursing Specialization of one year (for Male only) required for B.Sc. Nursing Program.
Update PNC Registration Card. (expired dated not allowed)
National Identity Card (CNIC).
01-year experience as RN. (copy enclosed)
Last School leaving certificate.
Domicile Certificate.
In-service
candidate should route their applications through the proper channel.
NOTE:
a. The application forms should be completed in all respects. Incomplete and late received application forms will not be entertained.
b. No TA/DA will be paid for the pre-entry test. c. 03 sets of all relevant documents with file.
