1. Eligibility Criteria: -

Open Merit

As per PMC Medical and Dental Undergraduate Education (Admissions, Curriculum and Conduct) Regulations 2022-23 para 5(10), for admission to a private college no distinction shall be made in terms of merit and criteria between a Pakistani, overseas Pakistani or foreign student which means that there is no special quota for foreign students in private colleges and foreign candidates must compete on the same merit as local candidates.

4. Selection of Choices by the Applicants: -

a. The online admission portal will list all affiliated and attached Medical/Dental colleges for selection by the applicants.

b. Applicants are advised to be careful in selecting Medical and Dental Colleges, as per their choice. Applicants will be offered admission in MBBS/BDS in respective Medical/Dental colleges, on merit only.

c. Each student shall be required to login online admission portal and select MBBS BDS or both program only once at step 3 Institute/Program Choice.

5. Process of Generating Merit List:-

a.NUMS will generate a complete merit list for each college and forward to all its respective affiliated and attached Medical and Dental Colleges.

b. Each affiliated and attached Medical and Dental College will display its complete merit list on their website and notice board as well.

c. College will make admissions on allocated seats while adhering strictly to merit, as provided by NUMS.

d. College will inform each applicant who are on merit list (as per sequence of aggregate merit) through email and telephone and will also keep record of that correspondence with each applicant as a documentary evidence for reference.

IMPORTANT:

a. Possession of CNIC is mandatory for students aged 18 and above at the time of admission.

b. Candidates having foreign qualifications, such as O/A Level etc. shall have to upload the equivalence certificate issued by IBCC at the time of submission of online application, otherwise their application shall be rejected.

c. The candidates claiming to be Hafiz-e-Quran can appear in only one Hifz-e-Quran Test, either for public sector or private sector institutions. The result of this Hifz-e-Quran Test shall be valid for both public and private sectors. Hitz-e-Quran marks will be added to F.Sc (Pre-Medical/HSSC/Equivalentas per policy.

a. All Pakistanis having valid citizenship (Including citizens of AJK and Gilgit Baltistan) can apply for d. As per PMC "Admission Regulations 2022-2023 Admissions to Medical and Dental programs shall be admission in all above mentioned colleges on open merit seats

b. Passing MDCAT for NUMS (Held on 16th October 2022) is mandatory. Pass percentage of MDCAT for NUMS is 55% for admission in MBBS Program and 45% for BDS Program.

c. Minimum 60% aggregate marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent having minimum twelve years of education in atleast three subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics.

conducted separately and each student shall be required to apply separately to a medical or dental program. A student having not applied to a given program shall not be entitled to admission to such program.

e. It shall be the sole responsibility of the candidate to submit complete application along with the required documents. In case of any deficiency, the University may reject the application without intimation to the candidate.

f. Applications once submitted shall be considered final. Applications which are incomplete in any way or those received by post shall be rejected.

g. Applications shall be submitted through online portal only. Hard copies are not acceptable. No application shall be accepted after the last date of submission.

h. Applicants will be required to visit nearest branch of Habib bank Ltd (countrywide) to deposit Application Processing Fee @ Rs. 4500/- (Forty-Five thousand only, Non-refundable/Non-transferable) latest by Wednesday 14 December 2022 1600 hours.

i. The university shall cancel any provisional admission where the credentials of a student are not verified.
